| الوصف: | First of all, I would like to thank Klaus Schmidt for being an excellent advisor and for both, challenging and encouraging me during the work on my thesis. He introduced me to the field of contract theory and shaped my research interests. I would also like to thank Jacques Crémer for inviting me to the Toulouse School of Economics and for serving as my local advisor during that time. He was an outstanding advisor and made my time in Toulouse very productive and memorable. I am grateful to Florian Englmaier who throughout the years gave me valuable advice concerning my research and agreed to join my thesis committee. Moreover, I would like to thank Niko Matouschek for inviting me to visit the Kellogg School of Management and for the opportunity to discuss various research projects with him.
