情報と倫理の関係を、「情報と倫理」、「情報⊃倫理」、「情報⊂倫理」の三つのカテゴリーに区分し、それぞれの貢献点と問題点を探る。「情報と倫理」の考察では J. H. Moor の解釈を取り上げ、コンピュータの優れた点が論理的適応性であり、危惧する点が不可視的要因から生じる犯罪だと見て、コンピュータ倫理学は情報学と倫理学の双方に依存するべきだと考える。「情報⊃倫理」に関しては、L. Floridi が情報と倫理を「情報圏」の枠組み内で解消し、存在平等の原則に基づいて、人間を含め存在するものはすべて尊厳をもち、倫理的に保護されるべきだと見る情報倫理学を取り上げる。「情報⊂倫理」に関しては、情報が心と対象の中間にあるものと規定し、the who と the what の峻別に基づいて、情報を認識論的アプローチに基づいて解釈する R. Capurro を取り上げる。これら三つの関係に優劣はなく、相異は「情報」概念の解釈に依拠するが、どの関係も倫理にデジタル化の暴走を防ぐ役割を期待している点では共通している。 ; This paper aims at finding out the necessary and sufficient relationship between computer technology and ethics. For this purpose, I classify this relationship into three categories: “information-and-ethics”, “information⊃ ethics” and “information⊂ ethics” and explore their contributions and problems. J. H. Moor represents the first, which means information and ethics are independent of each other and complement each other. He thinks that the superiority of computer technology is logical malleability, and its fearful point is invisible abuse caused by invisible factors which characterize computer functions. Regarding “information⊃ ethics”, L. Floridi resolves the parallelism of information and ethics within the “infosphere” based on the ontological equality principle and takes up Information Ethics. In regard of “information⊂ethics”, R. Capurro stipulates that information is intermediate between the mind and the object and interprets information based on an epistemological approach while adhering to the who-what distinction. There is no superiority or inferiority among the three. The very difference arises from the understanding of the concept of "information", which ultimately comes down to the ontological heterogeneity of the two. ; departmental bulletin paper |
