| الوصف: | Questo contributo mira ad indagare le cariche curiali ricoperte dai membri di una famiglia senese nella Roma del Rinascimento e la loro decisione di prendere stabile residenza nella città dei papi all’inizio del Cinquecento. Dopo aver presentato la loro collocazione sociale, le magistrature ricoperte nel Comune di Siena, la rete delle loro alleanze matrimoniali e poi le ragioni che li portarono a Roma, si individueranno le strategie di breve periodo messe in atto dai Sergardi per sfruttare le risorse della corte pontificia. ; The essay is focused on the curial offices of a Sienese family in Renaissance Rome and their decision to move to the Pope’s city at the beginning of 16th Century. Considering first their social position, the posts held in the government of Siena, their marriage alliances strategies and then the reasons that led them to Rome, this paper aims to identify short-term strategies for the accumulation of bureaucratic resources of the papal Court. |
