| الوصف: | The design of parts has been successfully replaced by the CAD / CAM software and technologies, the whole design and prototyping process has become easier, faster and at the same time cheaper. Design problems can now be solved during design, and the developed product can be tested virtually by performing various simulations. Applicability of CAD / CAM applications: CAD software is used to design parts and assembly units; methods of machining parts are designed using CAM programs; the machining path of the CAM-generated part is transformed into a G-code which is understood by CNC machines; parts are manufactured on CNC machines according to selected programs. The article provides an overview of the most commonly used CAD / CAM software packages in the industry. |
