الوصف: If the COVID-19 pandemic were to remain in collective memory as a catastrophe shaking all of society and the whole world, it is possible that a kind of dark tourism will be developed around the pandemic. Besides those of wars, genocides, dictatorships, or terrorist attacks, it would be a new form of dark tourism associated with a non-human agent. For this memory to take the form of tourism and for this tourism to be considered as dark tourism, certain conditions should be met. Although there is no guarantee that this will be the case, it is possible to assess to what extent this might be and to imagine what it would imply. Such tourism would mean that those who witnessed it would become historical subjects assuming a legacy and a common vision of this event as being a model either of heroism or of collective bankruptcy. The pandemic would then continue to haunt society and remain present in the form of memorials.
