Sürekli artan nüfus ve ekonominin büyümesi insanların ortak kullanım alanlarını kısıtlamakta, trafiğin yoğunlaşmasına ve kavşakların kapasitesinin yetersiz kalmasına sebep olmaktadır. Mevsimlik göçlerin, günlük işlerin ve turistik ziyaretlerin sebep olduğu anlık nüfus artışlarında da mevcut trafik çözümlemeleri yetersiz kalmaktadır. Bir ilçenin yapı taşları olarak; o ilçenin insanlarını, yapılarını, coğrafi özelliklerini, ulaşım ağlarını vb. örnek gösterebiliriz. Günümüzde gelişen teknolojik ve ekonomik etkiler, bu unsurları vazgeçilemez kılmaktadır. Odağın insan olduğu ilçelerde ulaşım çok önemli olduğu gibi ilçelerde bulunan yollar da o ilçenin tarihini, kültürünü ve sosyoekonomik seviyesini yansıtır. Bu çalışmada, İstanbul’da bulunan Bahçelievler Ünverdi Kavşağı’nın sorunları ele alınmış, kavşağın mevcut geometrisi ile geliştirilen öneri projeler karşılaştırılmış ve elde edilen sonuçlar değerlendirilmiştir. ; The growing population and economy are limiting the common use of people, causing traffic to intensify and lack of capacity for intersection. Current traffic analysis is also insufficient in instantaneous population increases caused by seasonal migration, day-to-day work and tourist visits. As the fundamental elements of a discrict, we can accept the disctrict’s people,structures, geographical features,transportation networks,etc. Today, developing technological and economic effects make these elements indispensable. Transportation is very important in the districts where the focus is on people, and roads in the districts reflect the history, culture and socioeconomic level of that districts. In this study, problems of Bahçelievler Ünverdi Interchange in İstanbul are discussed and examined, the existing geometry of the intersection and the proposed projects were compared and the results were evaluated. ; Continued growth of population and economy restricts people's common areas of use, causing traffic to intensify and the capacity of intersections is inadequate.
