الوصف: | This Collection presents different themes related to Educational Policy. Researchers from different regions of Brazil and specialists in the area, make a current and necessary discussion about the directions of educational policies, from basic education to higher education, in order to contribute to the expansion of the theoretical framework to be used in the disciplines that discipline in undergraduate and graduate courses. The objective was to ensure that the texts were objective and in-depth: accessible language, but with enough theoretical depth to serve both undergraduate students and serve as a reference for research in educational policies. Composed of 13 chapters, different aspects of education are discussed, such as: the teaching of Educational Policy in Brazil and its importance for teacher training; reflections on education as a right for all to be ensured in an isonomic way; analysis of the State in the context of the capitalist form of sociability to problematize how class struggle antagonistically directs disputes over educational projects; main aspects of education in Brazil at different historical moments; legislation, organization and policies for Secondary Education in Brazil today; higher education legislation, organization and policies with a view to strengthening teacher training; exclusionary practices that marked the socio-historical trajectory of people with disabilities; the concept, characteristics and policies of the distance education modality in Brazil; elements of indigenous school education conquered by the protagonism of indigenous movements after the Federal Constitution of 1988; characteristics of the construction process of the assessment of early childhood education in Brazil; debate on large-scale external evaluation of basic education; Higher Education Assessment Course in Brazil.
