Este trabalho busca compreender a origem da utilização da violência sexual no conflito armado colombiano no contexto do governo de Álvaro Uribe, durante o qual foram observados altos índices dessa forma de violência. Assim, busca-se investigar a temática da violência sexual em conflitos armados como uma estratégia com objetivos específicos, utilizando para isso o caso colombiano, que se torna emblemático pelos indicadores estudados e ao mesmo tempo pela pouca visibilidade dada à essa problemática. Apresenta-se a hipótese de ligação da violência sexual com o conflito agrário e também de que durante o governo Uribe, de 2002 até 2010, se deu uma manutenção dessa violência amparada principalmente pelos grupos paramilitares e com uma recrudescimento da repressão às guerrilhas com as novas políticas de segurança, apesar do discurso voltado para a ideia de que o conflito havia terminado. Por fim, a metodologia científica deste estudo utiliza fontes qualitativas, primárias e secundárias, com método hipotético-dedutivo. ; This work seeks to comprehend the origin of the use of sexual violence in the Colombian armed conflict in the context of Alvaro Uribe’s government, during which high rates of this kind of violence were observed. Thus, it aims to investigate the issue of sexual violence in armed conflicts as a strategy with specific objectives, using for it the Colombian case, which is an emblematic one for the studied indicators and at the same time for the little visibility that it has received. The hypothesis of the connection of sexual violence with the agrarian conflict is presented, and also that during the Uribe government, from 2002 to 2010, this violence was maintained, supported mainly by paramilitary groups and with an intensification of the repression of the guerrillas with the new security policies, despite the discourse aimed at the idea that the conflict was over.
