| الوصف: | In the first half of the 17th century, the evangelization process was carried out in the eastern central region of the New Kingdom of Granada. To carry out this process, the native population was congregated in a space where not only Christian doctrine was taught, but also where the aborigines were grouped under the concept of Christian "police"; this space was the doctrine. In its direction, members of both religious orders and secular clergy were appointed, who held their ownership. However, there were occasions when personnel from both clergy or people from the same religious sector filed a lawsuit for its possession because that address represented a symbol of social status, control of the Indians, and ecclesiastical prestige. This paper will analyze processes where priests and religious people confronted each other over the possession of the doctrines, the participation of the actors who were involved in them, and their consequences at a social and religious level. Thus, the complexity of the indoctrination process will be understood, where did not only pastoral interests, also personal, corporate, social and monetary interests. ; En la primera mitad del siglo XVII, se adelantaban la evangelización en la región centro oriental del Nuevo Reino de Granada. Para llevar a cabo ese proceso, se congregaba a la población nativa en un espacio en donde no solo se enseñase la doctrina cristiana, sino que se agrupase a los aborígenes al amparo del concepto de “policía” cristiana”; ese espacio era la doctrina. En su manejo, eran nombrados miembros tanto de las órdenes religiosas como del clero secular, quienes ostentaban su titularidad. Sin embargo, se presentaron ocasiones en que personal de ambos cleros o personas del mismo sector religioso entablaron pleito por su posesión, debido a que esa dirección representaba un símbolo de estatus social, de control de los indios, y de prestigio eclesiástico.
