Business support infrastructure for small and medium enterprises SMEs involves programs and projects, institutions and organizations whose activity aims to ensure the functionality, consolidation and development of the SME sector. Considering the fact that SMEs development represents the Republic of Moldova Government priority, being allocated financial resources from the state budget annually, including for the creation of the business support infrastructure, we consider the addressed topic to be actual and important. The purpose of this article is to analyze the framework of public policies regarding the development of the business support infrastructure, presentation of main strategic documents that include the respective provision and their impact on the creation of the entrepreneurial environment. The research methodology is based on the analysis of the state policies regarding the development of business support infrastructure for SMEs. nbsp; ; Infrastructura de suport pentru întreprinderile mici şi mijlocii IMM implică programe şi proiecte, instituţii şi organizaţii a căror activitate vizează asigurarea funcţionalităţii, consolidării şi dezvoltării sectorului IMM. Având în vedere faptul că dezvoltarea IMM-urilor constituie una dintre priorităţile Guvernului Republicii Moldova, fiind alocate anual resurse financiare din bugetul de stat inclusiv pentru crearea infrastructurii de suport, considerăm tema abordată fiind actuală şi importantă.nbsp; Prezentul articol are drept scop de a analiza cadrul politicilor publice privind dezvoltarea infrastructurii de suport, elucidarea principalelor documente strategice ce includ prevederea respectivă şi impactul acestora asupra creării mediului antreprenorial.
