| الوصف: | The extension project “Educate to Prevent - Health of Children and Adolescents” aims to provide reflective health information, focusing on awareness, prevention, and control of health issues and diseases. With this premise, the project raised awareness among children about dengue through music and art. The methodology included playful activities, such as theater and parodies, developed by students from Faculdades Pequeno Príncipe in collaboration with sixth-grade students from a school located in Curitiba. The presentations, held in May 2024, highlighted the benefits of an educational environment that promotes playfulness and active participation from students. The results showed that the dynamics and the creation of mosquito costumes facilitated the assimilation of content, stimulating the children's engagement. Thus, the project reinforced the need for educational approaches that promote playful activities, fostering the development of critical skills and a sense of responsibility in young people. ; El proyecto de extensión “Educar para Prevenir - Salud del Niño y del Adolescente” tiene como objetivo ofrecer información reflexiva sobre la salud, buscando la concientización, prevención y control de enfermedades y agravios. Con esta premisa, el proyecto sensibilizó a los niños sobre el dengue utilizando música y arte. La metodología incluyó actividades lúdicas, como teatro y parodias, desarrolladas por académicos de la Facultad Pequeno Príncipe en interacción con estudiantes de sexto grado de una escuela ubicada en Curitiba. Las presentaciones, realizadas en mayo de 2024, evidenciaron los beneficios de un entorno educativo que promueve la ludicidad y la participación activa de los alumnos. Los resultados mostraron que las dinámicas y la confección de trajes de mosquito facilitaron la asimilación de los contenidos, estimulando el compromiso de los niños.
