الوصف: Today it is important to reform and modernize the system of military training of women. In view of this, it is expedient to study the history of the formation and development of such training. Ukraine has its own historical experience of women's participation in military affairs. The first Ukrainian woman to take part in the wars was Princess Olga, who in 946 went on a campaign against the Drevlians, led the siege and assault on the city of Iskorosten. The opening of the first women's schools in Ukraine was also one of the factors in the emergence of women's political education and the basis for preparing women for possible governance. The traditions of patriotic upbringing became the basis for women's military training, which were reflected in the preservation of Ukrainian culture, spirituality, the cult of the family and the Motherland. Women in Ukrainian culture have become the guardians of the Ukrainian mentality, devotion to their homeland, educators of patriotism and repeaters of national identity. Such approaches became the basis of Cossack pedagogy, which is the basis for instilling in many generations of Ukrainian women a sense of duty to the Motherland, a sense of devotion to the Ukrainian people. One of the prerequisites for military training of women was military medical training. The experience of other European countries (France, Italy, Great Britain and others) had an indirect influence on the formation of the idea of military training of women in Ukraine. During the First and Second World Wars, society for the first time demanded that women take part in public life and participate in direct service in the armed forces. Women began to undergo special training in military training centers. World War II intensified the mobilization of women and forced the government to create a solid legal framework that would allow women to become soldiers on an equal footing with men.
