2015)Oleh :IMBANG SULISTYONO, SHA.2021141061ABSTRACTThis thesis discusses the role of security intelligence in conducting early detection of developmental disruption of social order (Studies on Election penyelanggaraan In Ketapang 2015). The method used in this study is a socio-juridical approach. From the results of this thesis can be concluded that the Police Intelkam role in providing early detection of any shocks that may occur dimasyarkat to menggagu kamtibmas situation in the organization of the elections Ketapang, where disruption of social order can affect the development of the nation. Early detection process Intelkam Ketapang Police do not solely the product information sober but through the various stages of the processing of the data and also use in-depth analysis to produce accurate information. The information that is made in the form of intelligence products are presented to the leadership in order to provide feedback to the leadership to help define policies to be taken to anticipate the disruption of social order. The leader's policy related to the anticipation of disruption of social order is very useful for creating a conducive social order, with the detection of the early leaders can determine the appropriate policy measures, the appropriateness of the policy so that it can maintain security and order environment in accordance with the basic tasks of the national police. In the case of assignments in the area of operation, especially in areas prone to conflict elections Intelkam also not work with the maximum so its presence to restore security to be not optimal anyway. Handling problems in areas prone to conflict elections can not be done by Intel alone and police in general would be, but the need to involve the relevant authorities, so it can be done with the corresponding function of each agency in restoring security.
