Essere donne (Cecilia Mangini, 1965) and Vogliamo anche le rose (Alina Marazzi, 2007) offer two personal views on Italian feminist movements between 1960 and 1979. The first documentary gives voice to the marginalized women within a system marked by aproduction machine that cancels the boundaries between work time and leisure and aims at granting the interests of the owners by nourishing a reassuring female model. The second retraces, through three stories, the achievements of collective struggle, that have given back to women the role of historical agents, transforming the image of themselves and of their bodies. A comparative analysis of the two films points out the way in which, using the narrative, female models in the Italian society can be critically rethought in order to interpret the current situation where new forms of inequality are affecting women. ; Essere donne (Cecilia Mangini, 1965) e Vogliamo anche le rose (Alina Marazzi, 2007) offrono due punti di vista originali sui movimenti femministi italiani tra il 1960 e il 1979. Il primo documentario dà voce alle donne costrette ai margini in un sistema contraddistinto da un meccanismo produttivo, che annulla i confini tra lavoro e tempo libero e mira a garantire gli interessi padronali, alimentando un modello femminile rassicurante. Il secondo ripercorre, attraverso tre storie, le conquiste della lotta collettiva, che restituiscono alle donne il ruolo di agenti storici, trasformando l’immagine di loro stesse e dei loro corpi. L’analisi comparata dei due film evidenzia come, usando la narrazione, si possa ripensare criticamente i modelli femminili nella società italiana, al fine di interpretare un presente segnato da nuove forme didisuguaglianza nei confronti delle donne. |
