الوصف: Fish flour occupies an important place among the food ingredients used in feeding broiler chickens, due to its high biological value and adequate balance of essential amino acids. However, other foods that provide essential amino acids, such as Moringa protein Hydrolyzate, could partially or totally replace said supplement in the fattening of free-range chickens. The productive and carcass traits of sixty F1 chickens of the Camperos K-5 and K-3 lines were evaluated, subjected to three treatments: (1) supplementation with 100 % fish meal (5 g per day per animal), (2) Supplementation with 50 % fish meal and 50 % Moringa protein Hydrolyzate, (3) Supplementation with 100 % Moringa protein Hydrolyzate (10 ml daily per animal). The food offer was made according to the Manual of semi-rustic birds. Weight increase and carcass yield were determined, among other indicators. There were no significant differences between treatments in the final weight of the chickens, with an average value of 1.5 kg of final live weight of fattening, which indicates that similar behaviors can be achieved in the Campero fattening when the birds are supplemented with artisanal fish flour or Moringa protein Hydrolyzate. An average value of 70 % carcass yield was obtained, whose highest quality edible parts, thighs and breast, constituted 55 % of the carcass of healthy birds suitable for consumption. ; La harina de pescado ocupa un lugar importante entre los ingredientes alimenticios usados en la alimentación de pollos de engorda, por su elevado valor biológico y adecuado balance de aminoácidos esenciales. Sin embargo, otros alimentos que aportan aminoácidos esenciales, como el Hidrolizado proteico de Moringa, pudiera sustituir de modo parcial o total dicho suplemento en la ceba de pollos Camperos.
