الوصف: This article describes the synthesis of new benzylidenehydrazone derivatives ( 4a-c ). These compounds were synthesized by first designing N-substituted benzaldehyde derivatives ( 3a-c ) through the action of cyclic amine with 2-chloro-5-nitrobenzaldehyde ( 2) . Condensation of these aldehydes ( 3a-c ) with tosylhydrazine led to hydrazones derivatives ( 4a-c ). The structures of these compounds were characterized by 1 H, 13 C Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, and High-Resolution Mass Spectrometry (HRMS) analysis. Three of them were identified by X-ray crystallography.
