| الوصف: | Calreticulin (CRT) is an endoplasmic reticulum Ca2+-binding protein that is involved in regulation of multiple cellular functions. We previously showed that CRT is over-expressed in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) and contributes to metastatic phenotypes through several pathways. Here we discuss the role of CRT in the progression of ESCC and the potentiality of CRT as a drug target and biomarker for ESCC. |
