الوصف: In this paper, the characterization of a new clutch control strategy by means of a magnetorheological fluid (MR) has been investigated. The clutch system was designed and manufactured in the laboratory in order to determine its static and dynamic characteristics. As a result of experimental measurements, the torque control of the developed MR clutch was determined in the frequency and time domains, as were the analytical relationships describing the connection between the control and controlled variables. The obtained results demonstrate that the analytical models are in good agreement with the experimental data, with an overall error of about 7%.
