The article is devoted to the fate of the participants of the November uprising of 1830–1831 in the artistic comprehension of Polish writers T.Ya Papi and F.A. Ossendowski. The novel by T.Ya. Papi “Po ciernistej drodze” draws attention to the emigration movement after the defeat of the uprising, and also shows the fate of the Polish patriots-convicts. In the center of the novel of F.A. Ossendowski “Mocni ludzie” – the fate of the rebel, the representative of the noble dynasty of the Fox, which after the uprising as punishment received a sentence of life exile in Siberia. The hero not only was able to adapt to new (sometimes extreme) conditions, he also became for the local population educator and defender of his interests. The purpose-on the material of the above-mentioned literary texts to identify the features of the author’s understanding of the fate of the rebels, taking into account the ideological orientation of the works. Material and methods. The material for literary analysis were the novels of T.Ya. Papi “Po drodze ciernistej” (1896), F.A. Ossendowski “Mocni ludzie” (1938). The main methods of research were the cultural-historical method, biographical method, as well as the method of ideological and compositional analysis of the work of art. Results and discussion. In the literary heritage of the Polish writer, translator and teacher Jadwiga Teresa Papi, the events of the November uprising are devoted to the novel Po ciernistej drodze, in which the artistic time covers several years before the uprising, the events of 1830–1831, as well as the period of emigration after the armed performance. Writer sativali not only the course of military events on the lands of Poland and Lithuania, Smyslova an important element of the novel was the epilogue, which reflects one of possible variants of rescue of the Patriotic forces – the emigration. The history of the November uprising also sparked the interest of scientist-chemist, engineer, researcher, naturalist, traveler and writer, Ferdinand Anthony Ossendowski. ... |
