En este texto queremos dar luz a la movilización surgida de un grupo vecinal del barrio de Parque Alcosa, en Sevilla, por la patrimonialización de la antigua fábrica de algodón “Virgen de los Reyes” y en contra del proyecto de urbanización que se está desarrollando sobre la misma. Con ello, queremos conocer la relación existente entre las demandas sociales que han motivado las acciones de determinados colectivos por la definición y apropiación de este espacio, y el contexto urbano, producto de políticas neoliberales como es el Distrito Este de Sevilla, en el que aquella tiene lugar. Desde una perspectiva antropológica, queremos comprender la estrategia de patrimonialización como reivindicación del derecho a la ciudad en este caso concreto y atendiendo a su encaje en dinámicas globales. ; In this text we want to shed light on the mobilisation that has arisen from a neighbourhood group in the Parque Alcosa neighbourhood (Seville), for the patrimonialisation of the old cotton factory “Virgen de los Reyes” and against the urbanisation project that is being developed on the site. With this, we want to understand the relationship between the social demands that have motivated the actions of certain groups for the definition and appropriation of this space, and the urban context, product of neoliberal policies such as the Eastern District of Seville, in which it takes place. From an anthropological perspective, we want to understand the strategy of patrimonialisation as a vindication of the right to the city in this specific case and in terms of how it fits into global dynamics. |
