Social media, such as TikTok, is an internet-based application that allows the creation and exchange of user content. Communication behavior is an expression and response in a communicative situation, influenced by the understanding and feelings that have been formed in each individual. TikTok, which is increasingly popular in Indonesia, not only provides video and music features, but also a platform for entertainment and creative expression. The presence of TikTok social media in the midst of the lives of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo University students is expected to have a positive impact, become an information media, as a source of all information, add insight to adolescents (students), expand the network of friends, strengthen communication between relatives, friends, and expand the field of skills. This study aims to analyze the communication behavior of TikTok social media users in students of the Faculty of Business, Law, and Social Sciences at Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo University. This research uses a phenomenological approach with descriptive qualitative research methods.
