| الوصف: | The chapter presents a scientific framework, a method proposal and an application related to the historic center of Palermo, on the open and unresolved question of trade in historical urban contexts. The case study of Palermo, with its spatial and social complexities accentuated by tourism and an extremely complex historical and architectural heritage to be managed for vastness and sensitivity, has been developed with the aim of possible replication and upscaling to other urban realities. The contribution offers a possible set of site-specific solutions for the historic city of Palermo. |
