The article describes the essence of project methods for the development of self-educationskills in students of technical institutions of higher education. Approaches of foreign anddomestic scientists to improve the methods of teaching humanities in technical educationalinstitutions are analyzed. The question of introduction of innovative technologies in theeducational process is highlighted, the concepts of «pedagogical innovations», «innovations ofteaching methods» are revealed. One of the innovative teaching methods is the project method.The feasibility of applying the project method to the study of fundamental and humanities (forexample, foreign languages) in technical higher education institutions is considered. A detaileddescription of the project method classification is provided. The method of projects in this articleis considered by the author as a powerful interactive method for expressing interest in masteringthe disciplines of the humanities, fundamental and special cycle, developing self-educationalskills and acquiring a basic level of professional competence in a technical institution of highereducation. The preparation of the project, its basis is the development of classes with thestudent's chosen topic independently, based on the directions offered by the teacher (fromspecial, fundamental or humanitarian disciplines). The project must contain integrative tasksthat are performed during the hours of independent extracurricular work, and its protectionshould occur during the classroom hours of the discipline, which is studied by this method. Theauthor's development of the proposed method is presented and a detailed description is given,which focuses on the integrative nature of such activities. In order to identify the students' abilityand desire to conduct such integrative classes, a colloquium on higher mathematics is describedand the results of a questionnaire are presented to identify problems in the use of a foreignlanguage with special terminology. ; У статті розкривається сутність методів ... |
