الوصف: Farmers Will Get AAA Coin: Applicants For 1936-1939 Contracts Share In "Moral Obligation Payments." ; FARMERS WILL GET AAA COIN Applicants for 1936-1939 Contracts Share in "Moral Obligation Payments." Winter wheat farmers in this state who had filed applications for 1936-39 AAA contracts, who had set aside 5 per cent of their 1936 wheat land as adjusted acreage and who had seeded fall wheat by January 0, 1936, will participate in the "moral obligation payment" by the federal government. This information was relayed to County Agent William J. Green by A. M. Camp, commodities representative, who received the information from George E. Farrell, head of the AAA division of grains. Payment will be made from the $60,000,000 appropriation for this purpose made by the present congress. To comply, farmers must actually have set out adjusted acreage under one of the land uses approved under the 1936 AAA program. Payment Proportionate. Payment will be made in proportion to the applicant's allotment minimum In other words, the percentage that the fall wheat, seeded before January 6, is of the minimum wheat base, will determine the proportionate size of the payment. If winter wheat seeded was destroyed or killed during the winter, it will be necessary for the applicant to prove the seeding to the county allotment committee. Farms of applicants will be subject to inspection for compliance before payment is made. It is expected that this inspection will be made soon. Farmers are advised, however, to make no changes in land set aside for adjusted acreage before the inspection is made. The amount of the payment an acre has not been determined.
