Após a crise de 1929 e seu impacto global, a evolução dos setores econômicos trouxe consigo mudanças nas relações sociais de produção que não eram alheias ao que estava acontecendo ao nível local. Durante os anos 30, estas mudanças e muitas outras do contexto econômico-social podem ser identificadas na classe trabalhadora em Ibagué, na Colômbia. Esta pesquisa visa tornar visível a experiência desta classe e sua relação com o processo de industrialização, mudanças nos meios de produção e intervenção estatal. Por esta razão, é dada uma visão geral da classe trabalhadora por meio de uma compreensão histórica do movimento trabalhista como setor social. Esta análise é baseada em uma considerável quantidade de fontes primárias, que tornam visível a regulamentação do trabalho, as condições nos processos de trabalho, a consolidação sindical, algumas formas de controle que dizem respeito ao mundo laboral e social dos trabalhadores, assim como alguns processos de produção. ; After the 1929 crisis and its global impact, the evolution of the economic sectors brought about changes in the social relations of production that were not unrelated to what was happening at the local level. The above-mentioned changes were experienced by the working class in Ibagué (Colombia) during the 1930s in the social-economic context. This research aims to make visible the experience of this class and its relationship with the industrialization process, the changes in the means of production, and state intervention. For this purpose, it presents an overview of the path of the working class through the historical understanding of the labor movement as a social sector.
