Issue Invitation To Creameries. ; Want Samples From Producers -- Will Be At Pullman. ; Want Samples From Producers—Will Be at Pullman. Creameries from all parts of the country have been invited to enter samples of butter, Cheddar cheese and cottage cheese in the scoring contest at the ninth annual Washington institute of dairying at Pullman, March 2 to 7. The scoring contests are among the important features of the institute. Since the institute was first started as an annual affair, Spokane creameries have won several high honors for butter and cottage cheese. All branches of the dairy industry —producers, creamery operators, milk dealers, ice cream makers and the milk inspectors' state associations— participate in the institute. New developments in the industry will be demonstrated and new equipment will be displayed. Professor H. A. Bendixen of W. S. C. is in charge of the program. He has already announced that one of the most distinguished men in the dairy industry, Dr. L, A. Rogers, chief of the division of dairy research laboratories in the United States bureau of dairy industry at Washington, D C, will be the principal guest speaker More than 200 are expected to attend |
