| الوصف: | This study was undertaken to investigate the phenomenon of subsensitivity which occurs after repeated administration of an organophosphorus cholinesterase inhibitor. This manuscript has provided evidence to suggest that subsensitivity is not the result of qualitative changes in the cholinergic receptor or changes in the nerve endings. The author has suggested that a change in the number of receptors might be responsible for subsensitivity which is produced by chronic cholinesterase inhibition. |
