The development of this digital module is motivated by challenges faced by teachers in the learning process. Teachers rely solely on printed textbooks provided by the school and use teacher-centered methods such as lectures, question-and-answer sessions, and assignments. As a result, students tend to feel bored, are less active, and have never used modules in their learning. Character education is also only taught through Civics Education, making the implementation of patriotic character education in Arts and Crafts lessons suboptimal. To address this, innovative teaching materials, such as an interactive and engaging digital module, are needed. This research adopts a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which includes five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Research instruments, in the form of questionnaires, were administered to subject matter experts, media experts, teachers, and students to assess the module’s feasibility. Validation results from subject matter and media experts indicated the module as "Highly Feasible." Similarly, assessments by teachers and third-grade students at UPT SPF SD Negeri Mamajang II also showed "Highly Feasible" ratings. Thus, the digital module based on patriotic character education for Arts and Crafts lessons in third-grade students has been tested for feasibility and is suitable for use as an innovative teaching material to enhance the quality of learning. |
