الوصف: | Egypt, being one of the oldest civilizations on earth, represents in its study a challenging approach to its history and legendary culture. Its various expressions in the field of archaeological legacy have always amazed humanity to the present, in the midst of a mystical and captivating sphere for research. It is surprising to understand that Egypt experienced the very early presence of Christianity, in the missiological advance carried out by Mark, according to religious tradition. This fact confirms the slogan that the gospel was being taken to the ends of the earth in its discipling fulfillment designated by Jesus Christ, with persecution being the indicated means for disseminating the message of salvation. The missionary undertaking of the Adventist Church in the first missiological movements reached the territory of Egypt in the 19th century with the work of volunteer missionaries from Europe motivated by the example and advice of John Nevin Andrews, the first pioneer in lands foreign to the United States. The missionary methodologies used to reach Egypt were varied. From the work with foreigners, the implementation of health and food centers, the important function of the distribution of publications to the carrying out of evangelism campaigns in an open and direct way, were the methods used by the pioneers. There is no doubt that God guided this entire missiological process and, providentially, accompanied and arranged all the means for the message of salvation to reach the Egyptian territory in the midst of a legendary and always challenging culture for the missionaries who arrived in these lands of pharaohs and emperors.
