| الوصف: | The aim of this study is to examine the relationships among body image coping strategies, narcissistic traits, and submissive behaviors in university students. The correlational survey model was used in the research. The study group of the research consists of a total of 537 university students, 404 females (75.2%) and 133 males (24.8%) studying at a university in a city in the Central Anatolia Region of Türkiye. Body Image Coping Strategies Inventory, Pathological Narcissism Inventory, Submissive Behaviors Scale, and Personal Information Form prepared by the researcher were used as data collection tools in the study. In the analysis of the obtained data; the independent sample t-test, One-Way Anova, Pearson Correlation Coefficient, and multiple linear regression analysis were used. As a result of the research, a significant difference was found in the total score of body image coping strategies in university students in terms of the gender variable. It was found that the total score of women's body image coping strategies was higher than that of men. Body image coping strategies total score does not differ in terms of being in a romantic relationship. According to the results of the correlation analysis, there were positive significant relationships between body image coping strategies and narcissism. There were positive significant relationships between body image coping strategies and submissive behaviors. According to the results of the multiple linear regression analysis, it was found that narcissism and submissive behaviors together predicted body image coping strategies. ; Bu araştırmada üniversite öğrencilerinde beden imgesi baş etme stratejileri, narsistik özellikler ve boyun eğici davranışlar arasındaki ilişkilerin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır.
