The article examines the transition of actress Norma Bengell to director and her project to film the lives of revolutionary women and Brazilian actresses. The research delves into Bengell's private archive, revealing unfinished films and exploring the motivations, po-litical, and historical context of her career change. The article highlights Bengell's contribu-tion to Brazilian documentary cinema and the feminist debate, particularly her involvement with international feminist movements. In this journey, we focus on the analysis of her first documentary, Maria Gladys: uma atriz brasileira, reflecting on the relationship between Norma and Gladys and the realization of a cinema made by women ; L'article examine la transformation de Norma Bengell d'actrice en réalisatrice et son projet de filmer la vie de femmes révolutionnaires et d'actrices brésiliennes. La re-cherche plonge dans ses archives privées, révélant des films inachevés et explorant les mo-tivations, le contexte politique et historique de son changement de carrière. L'article met en lumière la contribution de Bengell au cinéma documentaire brésilien et au débat féministe, en particulier son engagement dans les mouvements féministes internationaux.
