| الوصف: | The objective of this work is to characterize the land use planning of rural development in the Tosagua canton, province of Manabí, by collecting data and analyzing the attributes of the shape cartography presented in thematic maps. The research carried out was descriptive, with a non-experimental design and a mixed methodological approach. To characterize the territory and its potentialities, the Territorial Development and Planning Plan of the Tosagua canton was analyzed, the direct field observation technique was applied through the rural mesh, and the varied satellite shape cartography available by the Military Geographical Institute of the Ecuador. To determine the potential of agricultural development, information was collected in the Territorial Ordering Unit of the Planning Department of the Autonomous Decentralized Municipal Government of the Canton Tosagua, and the databases of the cartographic images were analyzed, as well as the shape files provided. The results obtained allow us to conclude on the need to implement strategies within the legal framework of land use planning to regulate the use and management of land in the Tosagua canton. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo caracterizar el ordenamiento territorial del desarrollo rural en el cantón Tosagua, provincia de Manabí, mediante la recolección de datos y análisis de atributos de la cartografía shape representada en mapas temáticos. La investigación desarrollada fue de tipo descriptivo, con un diseño no experimental y un enfoque metodológico mixto. Para caracterizar el territorio y sus potencialidades, se analizó el Plan de Desarrollo y Ordenamiento Territorial del cantón Tosagua, se aplicó la técnica de observación de campo directa para la malla rural, y se analizó la variada cartografía satelital shape disponible por el Instituto Geográfico Militar del Ecuador. Para determinar las potencialidades del desarrollo agropecuario se recolectó información en la Unidad de Ordenamiento Territorial del Departamento de Planificación del Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Municipal del Cantón Tosagua, y se analizaron las bases de datos de las imágenes cartográficas, así como los archivos shape proporcionados. Los resultados obtenidos permiten concluir sobre la necesidad de implementar estrategias dentro del marco legal del ordenamiento territorial para regular el uso y gestión de suelo en el cantón Tosagua. |
