الوصف: We report multidisciplinary treatment of 3 patients with lymph node recurrence after curative gastrectomy. Case 1: A 71- year-old woman had a history of distal gastrectomy with D2 lymphadenectomy for the treatment of advanced gastric cancer. Para-aortic lymph node metastasis was observed 36 months after surgery. Complete response( CR) was achieved after concurrent chemoradiotherapy with S-1 plus radiation. Case 2: A 51-year-old man had a history of total gastrectomy with D2 lymphadenectomy for the treatment of advanced gastric cancer. Right cervical lymph node metastasis was observed 48 months after surgery. CR was achieved after concurrent chemoradiotherapy with S-1 plus radiation. Case 3: A 68-year-old man had a history of distal gastrectomy with D2 lymphadenectomy followed by neoadjuvant chemotherapy for the treatment of advanced gastric cancer. CR was achieved after sequential treatment with irinotecan( CPT-11) plus cisplatin( CDDP), radiation, and 5-fluorouraci(l 5-FU) plus Leucovorin therapy for lymph node recurrence near the head of the pancreas. These cases suggest that the combination of systemic chemotherapy and local radiation therapy might be effective for the treatment of lymph node recurrence in patients with gastric cancer.
