El presente artículo de reflexión muestra a lo largo del mismo los cambios en el nuevo estatuto aduanero, y cuáles son las principales ventajas para el sector privado, además se dará una exhaustiva sustentación de por qué los cambios que traen consigo la modificación del estatuto, proveerán al sector privado un aporte a la facilitación en temas de comercio exterior y al mejoramiento de la competitividad del país en el plano internacional. En principio la normatividad aduanera en Colombia, ha permitido durante años proteger y activar la industria nacional, facilitando la movilidad de mercancías bajo un estricto control. De este modo, la nueva legislación aduanera (DIAN, 2017) afirma: “Busca modernizar los procedimientos existentes y adaptarlos a un contexto global, proporcionando mayor competitividad a los empresarios, a través, de la reducción de costos de comercialización, tiempo y la simplificación de documentación al momento de desarrollar actividades comerciales en un entorno internacional. In the principle, the customs regulation in Colombia has allowed to protect and activate the national industry for years. It has facilitated the transport of goods with strict control. In this way, the customs regulation in Colombia looks for the modernization of current as well as for adopting to a global context, it gives a better competitiveness for the entrepreneurs, though it decreases the marketing cost, the time and reduce the documentation at the moment of developing the commercial activities in an international environment.
