| الوصف: | The purpose of this study was to analyze whether the preference of local recreational sport is freindship oriented or competition oriented. The subjects were members of 144 recreational softball teams. The total number of them was about 3000 men and women, aged from twenties to fifties and had been living in Chita district of Aich prefecture. Firstly, the aims of sports activities were classified into 11 items by using Hayasi's quanification theory III. Secondly, the correlation among four team-attributes was investigated. As the result, it was noted that 1) aims of sports activities were classified into six groups, showing that attributes of freindship oriented preference differed from those of competition oriented, and 2) freindshiop oriented/compettition oriented had somewhat negative relation.
