We introduce a novel method for managing residual esotropia after vertical muscle transposition, with minimal risk of anterior segment ischemia, and report 3 patients with chronic abducens nerve palsy who underwent inferior rectus belly transposition subsequently or simultaneously after augmented superior rectus transposition and medial rectus recession.
