| الوصف: | This article offers a quick overview of adaptations of Alexander Ostrovsky's plays in opera, from the playwright's first contemporary operas, to which he himself contributed, to adaptations of the Soviet period, and sometimes abroad. In general, the choice of Ostrovsky's dramas is driven by a questioning around the notion of a "Russian" art and the means to implement it, it reveals an attention to power relations and the place of women, raises the question of the transposition of a realistic universe by conventional means of opera. Cet article propose un tour d'horizon rapide des adaptations des pièces d'Alexandre Ostrovski à l'opéra, depuis les premiers opéras contemporains du dramaturge, auxquels il a lui-même contribué, jusqu'aux adaptations de la période soviétique, et quelquefois à l'étranger. De manière générale, le choix des drames d'Ostrovski est porté par un questionnement autour de la notion d'un art «russe» et des moyens pour le mettre en œuvre, il révèle une attention portée aux rapports de pouvoir et à la place des femmes, pose la question de la transposition d'un univers réaliste par les moyens conventionnels de l'opéra.
