| الوصف: | Resumen: Este articulo tiene como proposito central presentar una descripcion del funcionamiento de la coletilla modal en ingles, portugues de Brasil, frances, aleman y espanol chileno, desde una perspectiva sistemico funcional del lenguaje y en el contexto de las funciones de habla y del sistema de MODO en el estrato lexicogramatical. Los principales hallazgos evidencian que el comportamiento de las coletillas modales es similar a traves de las lenguas, ya que todas ellas muestran una entonacion ascendente y ocupan la posicion final en las clausulas. Por contrapartida, en ingles, portugues, frances y espanol las coletillas se insertan en clausulas declarativas e imperativas, mientras que en frances son localizadas en clausulas interrogativas. Por otra parte, el ingles y el portugues de Brasil repiten el elemento modal de la clausula anfitriona, en tanto que en las restantes lenguas la coletilla no muestra el elemento negociador. Abstract: This article has as a main purpose to present a description of the functioning of tagquestions in English, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German and Chilean Spanish, from a systemic functional approach to language and in the context of the speech functions and the system of MOOD in the lexicogramatical strata. The main findings give evidence that the behavior of mood tags is similar across the languages, because they all show rising intonation and take the final position in the clauses. However, in languages like English, Portuguese, French and Spanish mood tags are inserted in the declarative and imperative clauses, while in French they are located in the interrogative clauses. On the other hand, languages like English and Portuguese repeat the modal element of the host clause, while mood tags in the other languages do not show the negotiator element. |
