الوصف: International audience; Edition of two successive leaves of a manuscript in Tocharian B kept at the Institute of Oriental Manuscripts, Russian Academy of Sciences, St. Petersburg, present-day marks SI P/1b (SI 1903) and SI P/2b (SI 1904). This is the first Tocharian manuscript which has been published, in 1892, but it did not receive yet a full scientific edition. The present paper provides transliteration, transcription and English translation, with photographs of the two leaves. The text belongs to a Buddhastotra 'praise of the Buddha' in verse. It contains several stanzas or parts of stanzas which correspond, as translations or paraphrases, to passages of the Varṇārhavarṇastotra in Sanskrit of the Buddhist poet Mātṛceṭa (ca. 2nd century CE). The parallels Tocharian B/Sanskrit have been noted.
