الوصف: Hepatotoxicity is a term used for many and distinct adverse effects that may occur in the liver after exposure to toxic substances. This article reviews the current methods and markers to assess hepatotoxicity, and discusses the introduction of new ‘functional genomics’ technologies in toxicology (toxicogenomics). Applications of toxicogenomics may facilitate the development of potential new markers of (hepato) toxicity.
