The small sized creature called mosquito is well known for the infectious diseases like malaria, yellow fever, dengue, JE, elephantitis. For the early detection and prompt treatment of the larva and adult of mosquito there is a need for their proper identification. The mosquito found in the desertic regions of Rajasthan are A. stephensi, A. culicifacies, A. annularis, A. subpictus, Ae. aegypti, Ae. albopictus, Ae. vittatus, C. tritaenorhynchus are the major.
