الوصف: Cancer can be defined as a disease in which a group of abnormal cells grow uncontrollably by disregarding the normal rules of cell division. Normal cells are constantly subject to signal that dictates whether the cell should divide, differentiate into another cell or die. Human papilloma virus infection (HPV) causes more than 90% of cases; most people who have had HPV infections, however, do not develop cervical cancer. Aim: The aim of the study to determine level of knowledge and attitude regarding cervical cancer and HPV vaccine among nursing students studying in Dasmesh College of Nursing, Faridkot. To find out the relationship between level of knowledge and attitude regarding cervical cancer and HPV vaccine among nursing students. Material and Methods: A Quantitative non experimental descriptive research approach and design was used. The pilot study was conducted on 5(10%) among nursing student studying in Dasmesh College of Nursing, Faridkot. Probability convenient sampling technique was used. The tool used for data collection consisted of 3 parts, i.e., socio demographic variables, structured knowledge questionnaire and modified attitude scale was used. Results: Analysis findings shows that 31 students having average knowledge score regarding cervical cancer and HPV vaccine where as 19 nursing students having poor knowledge and none of the student have good knowledge regarding cervical cancer and HPV vaccine. Moreover, all the socio demographic variables are non-significant with knowledge and attitude. Conclusion: Result of study revealed that 50% students fall in positive attitude regarding cervical cancer and HPV vaccine, No student have negative attitude.
