We will apply the IUCN Red List of Ecosystem (RLE) protocol to assess the risk of collapse of all regional units of Tropical Glacier Ecosystems. We will propose a clear definition and characterization of each unit, describe their current distribution, and evaluate threatening processes that can lead to the collapse of the ecosystem. |
