The application of Genetic Algorithms to optimize the Nonlinear Programming Problems is presented. The applications of nonlinear programming problems ranges from data networks-routing, production planning, resource allocation, computer aided design etc. The paper focuses on quadratic programming problems traditionally solved by using Beale's method. The paper presents a method of global optimization based on genetic algorithms. The Genetic Algorithms are a versatile tool, which can be applied as a global optimization method to problems of engineering. The calculated values are compared with the given constraints of problem. The results are in very good agreement with decreased computational time reported elsewhere.
