Intravascular papillary endothelial hyperplasia (IPEH) is a proliferation of endothelial cells in a papillary formation that occurs within a blood vessel lumen. Although IPEH occurs mainly in the skin, head-and-neck region, and fingers, IPEH occurring in the gastrointestinal tract is very rare (1). Furthermore, to the best of our knowledge, its occurrence in the stomach has never been reported. This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved.
