ZnO-As2O3-Sb2O3 glasses doped with different concentration of Y2O3 were synthesized. The effect of Y2O3 on spectroscopic properties of glasses has been investigated. Dielectric properties have been studied over a wide frequency range within temperature from 30 – 300 0C. The increase in dielectric constant and loss with increasing of Y2O3 reveals, the increase of ZnO6 units which enters the glass network by breaking up the As–O–As, Sb–O–As bonds. e' and tan δ are found to be minimum for Y4 glass. AC conductivity of these glasses has been explained on the basis of quantum mechanical tunneling model.
