الوصف: We describe the tadpole of Physalaemus albonotatus (Anura, Leptodactylidae), from specimens collected from northeastern Argentina. The distinguishing characteristics (Stage 36) are (1) labial tooth row formula: 2(2)/3(1); (2) rostral gap about 2.5 times greater than mental gap; (3) body length of 10.00 mm and total length of 24.20 mm; and (4) body dark brown to dark green dorsally with scattered dark spots. Morphological features were compared with other tadpoles belonging to the Physalaemus cuvieri species group from Argentina.
