Knee osteoarthritis is a common cause of pain and disability, with few conservative management options before surgery is necessary. This case study highlights a new minimally invasive procedure in the management of a 64-year-old woman with left knee osteoarthritis, who failed conservative management techniques and is not a surgical candidate. Genicular artery embolization is a safe and promising procedure offered by Interventional Radiology that requires only moderate sedation and has minimal recovery time.
