الوصف: Three new binuclear aqua-bridged nickel(II) 2-methylpropionate complexes [Ni2(μ-OH2)(μ-O2CCH(CH3)2)2L2–4((CH3)2CHCO2)2] (L is N,N,N',N'-tetramethylethylenediamine (I), pyridine (II), and 2,2'-bipyridyl (III)) are synthesized. The complexes are characterized by elemental and thermal analyses, mass spectrometry, IR and UV–Vis spectroscopy, and X-ray structure analysis (CIF files CCDC nos. 1840763 (I), 1913469 (II), and 1913471 (III)). The forms in which the synthesized coordination compounds exist in acetonitrile solutions are proposed on the basis of analyzing their mass spectra.
