الوصف: In this paper, a two-dimensional nonstationary mathematical model of heat and mass transfer under a hermetically sealed containment shell is developed. The following are assumed: (1) the subdome part of the model simulating the containment envelope is a hollow shell with an opening in the base through which a jet of steam and hydrogen enters, (2) the carrying medium is a mixture of gases, (3) the concentration of the components is determined in terms of their density, (4) the equation of state for an ideal gas holds, and (5) the mass of nitrogen is postulated to be constant. An algorithm similar to SIMPLE is used, and data is presented for a containment envelope of a nuclear power plant with a VPBR-640 unit.
